You wire your safe TALOS safety controller like any standard safety relay, select the programme and off you go.
SCB replaces old pneumatic timing relays
Pneumatic timing relays used up to now usually no longer fulfil the state of the art. This means that it is no longer possible to safeguard the system in accordance with standards.
The SCB ensures the current state of the art and thus conformity with the applicable standardisation both in the case of a retro-fit and when installing new burner systems.
Our SCB series timing relays are also UL listed.

Safety relay for use outside the control cabinet - IP65
The TETHYS IP65 SR is a universally applicable safety relay with three safe relay contacts. It ensures that the moving parts of a machine are switched off quickly and safely in the event of danger. Can be used up to PL e, SIL 3, category 4.
The waterproof and dustproof housing in accordance with protection class IP65 allows operation outside control cabinets, e.g. directly on the machine. This makes the TETHYS IP65 SR perfect for decentralised and demanding applications.
In addition, the TETHYS IP65 SR is certified for use in combustion plants in accordance with EN 50156-1 and EN 746-2.

Practical example: Retrofit of automated jam packaging for the confectionery manufacturer Zentis
Together with the operator we optimized the existed automated lid feeder for Zentis.
Within the project the following tasks have been realized:
- Status review of the existing system and hardware, including software analysis and current problem description
- Concept development with ZANDER MVisio HMI and High-Speed Controller ZX20TP as well as a joint elaboration of software requirement specifications
- Realization of whole software solution
- Implementation of the software based on the requirement
- Putting the system into operation
- Individual adjustments together with the operator
- Documentation and training of application software
In cooperation with the client the following benefits have been developed:
- Higher selectivity and real-time processing through High-Speed Controller ZX20
- Fast diagnosis and error messaging by process visualization together with the HMI’s
- Saving of hardware by software parameterization with HMI MVisio
