TETHYS IP65 SR and KR safety relays: safe, robust, flexible - housing as mini control cabinet
The great advantage of the TETHYS IP65 series lies in its unique housing: it functions as a mini switch cabinet and requires no additional protection.
Thanks to the IP65 protection class, these devices are optimally protected against dust and water jets, allowing them to be used directly on the machine. No more need for a separate control cabinet - the TETHYS IP65 relays make your installation simpler and more efficient. Naturally, they are tested and certified by TÜV Rheinland in accordance with the latest standards.

Maximum safety and versatility
Both variants support all the functions of the familiar SR3C and SK3D base models and have been updated with the latest safety standards. The reinforced insulation between the NO release current paths and to SELV networks in accordance with EN 60664-1, overvoltage category III, guarantees maximum safety and flexibility in use. Thanks to the integrated signaling contact (NC) and the 24VDC semiconductor signaling output, you are informed of the operating status at all times. The manual start input only reacts to falling edges, which enables perfect monitoring of the start button and offers maximum safety against unintentional start commands.

Certified to the highest safety standards
The TETHYS IP65 SR enables connection to control systems and sensors with OSSD outputs as well as classic single and dual-channel emergency stop buttons. Safety integrity level 3 (SIL3) in accordance with IEC 61508 and performance level e (PLe) in accordance with ISO 13849-1 are achieved.
The TETHYS IP65 KR, based on our coupling relays, also fulfills SIL3 and PLe. Both variants are also certified in accordance with EN 50156-1 and are therefore suitable for use in combustion plants. The entire TETHYS family therefore meets the highest safety standards.

Innovative monitoring functions
The IP65 Safety Relay is equipped with internal, safe overcurrent monitoring, which enables the connection of tactile sensors such as safety mats and safety edges.
Together with classic OSSD sensors and emergency stop buttons, comprehensive area monitoring can also be implemented.

Modular and customizable configurable
Both variants are equipped with M12A and M12S coded connectors as standard, compatible with IO-Link and common emergency stop buttons.
If the standard configuration does not fit - no problem! The modular internal structures of the TETHYS IP65 relays enable a customer-specific connector configuration.
