Normative framework requirements
The normative framework distinguishes between a plant of the process industry and a machine. Depending on it the respective requirements are described in the particular standard. Machine manufacturers or control cabinet manufactureres in the plant construction are often uncertain wether the safety review has to be conducted for a machine or a processing facility.
